Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Using the old trail, the only crossing of note is the first. There, the water was a bit higher in the afternoon resulting in the need to step onto rocks an inch deep. In other words, no problem.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of blowdowns, none making the trail impassable. Nicole, a forest ranger was out and she cleaned up quite a bit (Thanks for your service, Nicole) but a couple of big boys about a mile in will require a chain saw)
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lots of friendly dogs out today.
Bugs
Bugs: Lots of unfriendly blackflies out today.

Comments
Comments: I finally got to meet the inimitable Littlefoot and her gram. Six years old and a quarter done with her grid. Many kudos to gram for introducing her to our Whites at such an early age.
