Easy rock hops… water low. |

There is a large birch tree crossing trail right before the trail meets up with the older trail...would need a chain saw. Otherwise great shape. |

Lots of friendly dogs. |

A few black flies that were annoying so put on insect repellent. |

Nice 2.3 mile hike up to Bald peak. Quite a few people making this their destination. A couple of people on the summit with two friendly dogs on leash when we arrived, had the summit briefly to ourselves and then 3 more people arrived. Full parking lot so my guess 50/50 between Bald Peak and Kinsmans. Lovely day to kick off the summer season. |
