 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Livermore road (South). $5 unless yearly pass. Pit toilets at trailhead. Dirt lot in very good condition, no trouble for small cars. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable) |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Feet stayed mostly dry. Couple crossing near the end got a little wet, but it was dark. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lots of messy blowdowns between middle and south, starting to create herd paths around them. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Two guys finishing in parking lot with dogs. They did the same loop and provided beta that we could leave our spikes on the car. I would think north slide would be challenging for dogs, but they did it. Thank you for the beta! |
 | Bugs: |
A few in the parking lot, but the cold weather kept them at bay. |

 | Comments: |
With Evan. Slides are both clear and plenty dry enough for this hike to be done safely. Snow on the ridge is mostly avoidable. The parts that weren't were solid with good "steps" built in. It was a lovely night and we had the mountain to ourselves. Had dinner half way down south slide and watched first half of sunset. A five evening in the woods.
