Comments
Comments: This was mainly a visit to check out the Newhall Trails that connect to the southern end of the forest. These are all very short paths on private conserved land (but publicly accessible) and most of them have been impacted by recent logging. They are not part of Stonehouse Forest, but are depicted on SELT's most recent map of the property.

Conditions were typical for spring -- lots of bare ground, some minimal snow, patches of ice, and splashes of mud and water. Drainages were flowing and Newhall Brook was looking very healthy.
