mostly bare ground, negligible snow, minimal ice first half mile, significant ice sometimes across whole trail next half mil, cone mostly bare
choose between dodging ice in woods and making CHVTC unhappy, putting spikes off and on several times making yourself unhappy, or wearing spikes on bare ground making CHVTC unhappy, I went down old snowmobile trail which had much less ice |
