First 1.2ish miles very steep but doable. About 0.5 miles in there are some pretty sketchy ice slabs across steep pitches of rock- will be much easier with some snow cover but it was about 35 F and ice was too slick for micro spikes so took some creativity. Most of it can be bushwacked around. Once past these 3 or 4 sketchy ice slabs, trail was in great shape with good snow pack. Windy at top, beautiful views. |
