Beautiful day! Caught the sunset on Mt Osceola. Trail is mostly hard ice. We switched to crampons about halfway up East Osceola. On the way down, I wished I'd brought my ice ace, but with careful steps & some tree hugging, it was fine. Only saw one other hiker with crampons, but everyone in spikes seemed to be sliding around a bit. |
