| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We parked at intersection of North Road and Hogan Road. Trailhead was accessible by car (parking for several cars), but a couple of deep puddles on Hogan Road caused us to walk the short distance rather than try and push through with our cars. |

| Comments: |
Only saw two other people (Northbound AT through-hikers) on this hike on a mid-week, cloudy day. Trail alternates flatter sections with some steeper pitches. Recent rain and a persistent light mist resulted in some slippery stretches, where trail was rocky/ledgy. Other than on Hogan Road only real wet stretch was from Mahoosuc Trail junction to Hayes summit. Because of low clouds we stopped on Hayes summit and did not proceed to viewpoint. |
