Comments
Comments: After 2 days of hiking in the much needed moisture this morning was perfect for a full saturation ascending to Hale via the beautiful Firewardens Trail. There was waterflow on many parts of the trail as well as on Lend-A-Hand Trail. About a mile down complete with my hardshell i began the whack to S Hale. on and off again herdpaths throughout with plenty of fresh moose sign. Canister and register intact complete with pencil sharpener. Last entry was 8/20. I took a quick peak at 2nd crossing above hut-elevated but easily hoppable. it was nice briefly chatting with the two backpackers that had been out for four days as well as with the hiker at the hut. A complete surpise was crossing paths and hiking out with my Hiking Widow Amy B at the Zealand falls as this was her 1st time up.Leaves are just barely starting to change .
