Comments
Comments: Hike starts out on the Pemi Trail out of the parking lot, connects to a bike path then to the Whitehouse Trail. Easy walking on these. At about 0.6 miles it connects to the Flume Slide trail. Easy going for about 2 miles with several small water crossings. The trail gets steeper about half way up, and about a mile into the trail is where the rock scramble begins. Not too bad but I'm glad we went up this way instead of down. Great views from the top of Flume. Easy hike over to Liberty with more great views from the top. Liberty Springs trail starts out steep and rocky for the first 2 miles down, then levels out but still rocky to Whitehouse trail. Not too many other hikers, encountered maybe 30 or so all day. Startes out at 11:48AM and finished at 8:47PM. Great hike!
