Comments
Comments: I think I was the first hiker of the day and maybe the only to complete the loop because the weather was grey, foggy, misty and rain was predicted. I was trying to beat the rain and fortunately I did, because the trail was already wet and muddy enough. it's steep in places and the wet rocks make every step slip worthy. I started in my rain jacket, but that didn't last long because it was very humid. Bog bridges around the "lake" are in good shape. the trail on the west side of the lake, much wetter and muddier than the east. Didn't see anyone else until .25 from the parking lot and soon after that it started raining. Driving out it was pouring! Overall, the trail was meh. The coolest part was the border crossing, but if you're r*dlining, you have to do it.
