Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No water crossings on this route. There is a short very wet section on Gulfside between Adams and Jefferson, but there are enough rocks to get across it without getting wet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in great shape. Many thanks to the trail crews that were brushing the Gulfside Trail and building cairns.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: For late June, the bugs weren't bad at all.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing lost or found, but we did break the lower section of a hiking pole. Gotta contact Cascade Mountain Tech to see if we can buy a section to replace it.

Comments
Comments: Great hike from Valley Way Tentsite (good place to stay, by the way) to Adams and Jefferson, then back to the tentsite. It was a beautiful day, not too windy and spectacular views all day long. We spoke to several impressive and accomplished hikers throughout the day. Upper Bruin Trail (to connect from Valley Way to Airline) was somewhat steep but has beautiful greenery. On a nice day like today, upper Airline Trail is a good alternative to Valley Way, with good views all around, especially down into King Ravine and out to the north.

Thanks to "Remington34" for taking our picture at the summit of Mt Adams (#47 for my wife)! It was fun discussing our various hiking expeditions over the years!
