Comments
Comments: Hale Brook Trail was mostly dry- just a steady climb up with a few relatively flat sections. Lend-a-Hand was a mixed bag of dry trail covered with dried fir needles to very muddy and several areas of standing water. Grades are easy and trail is quite varied in terrain. Great spot to sit by a waterfall (Whitewall Brook) on Twinway going south toward Zeacliff. It’s a very short distance south on Twinway at intersection with Lend-a-Hand. Zealand Trail was also dry for the most part except for some small areas near the ponds.
