Comments
Comments: Hiked Mt. Willey this morning. Reached the summit in time to enjoy the sunrise. Hiked it from the South side. Trails mostly snow and ice free except for the last 0.2 miles below the summit. Traction highly recommend for this last section. The monorail is still solid and stable. There are also patches of solid ice that would be difficult to negotiate without traction.
