Comments
Comments: Ice starts a bit above 3,300' on both Airline and Valley Way. Saw some people navigating it without traction, but would definitely recommend using it.
Once you break treeline there is very little, most areas are clear. One of the only areas with significant snow/ice was the short section where Gulfside heads to Madison Spring Hut. There was a 4-5 foot tall monorail there, if you try to walk on the low side of it, it's all a slush puddle.
Valley Way from the hut down to around 4,000' was either ice flows with a waterfall on top or rotting monorail/slush with flowing water beneath. Had very wet feet through here.
