Comments
Comments: Beautiful day. Put on the microspikes about 3 miles up the Osseo trail. Some slushy snow until the ladders. Some of the ladders were icy - more of a problem on the way down, but made it through OK. Above the ladders, deep snow, with a very narrow lane of hard pack snow in the middle surrounded by postholes. Had the snowshoes, but never put them on, although I thought about it a couple times, especially coming down. Bare rock from tree line to the Flume summit, but looked like the snow and ice began again if you were to continue on to Liberty.
