Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: No vehicles upon arrival (Quinttown Road) after 8am, 3 additional vehicles upon return at 4p pretty much filling up the "lot"- our guess is that they were all on the Kodak Trail for Mt. Cube, as we saw only 3 solo hikers in the morning- that's it. *the 1st gate on Quinttown Road was closed, where there is a larger parking spot. So where we had to park was 1/2 mile from the Mousley/Quinttown Road junction.

Comments
Comments: What a BEAUTIFUL trail! SO glad that we chose this trail! And we thoroughly enjoyed using our Hillsounds for the last .75 mile to the summit for the snow and ice (mainly packed snow). *we were passed by three solo hikers who were solely bareboots. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this trail. However, views are limited to what you can see through the trees- so, some day, we'll traverse from the south side for all of the views ;-) Perfect views from the Fire Tower cabin (open)- I found the cabin door very easy to open (thought it was going to be much harder to get it to open).
