Parking/Access Road Notes: all good it was empty early but one had to park on road in early afternoon.. 
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow - Spring Snow, Leaves - Significant/Slippery, Snow/Ice - Postholes, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: First large one, hiked 50 yards upstream nice easy narrow channel to step over; second one rock hop.. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: maybe 3 large blow down step over go arounds on BCT early; on BRT a few in the hard wood section (did saw up one with many branches on way out); no issues up high.. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: did see dog tracks so I guess some might handle the tricky ledges.. 
Bugs
Bugs: yes black flies down low in early PM..they were not an issue if moving but if stopped...

Comments: Some snow and ice patches heading to N Baldface after the jct. with BRT...used spikes in two steep places..others hiking did not and made it so who knows with the warmer weather coming..awesome view day, 12 other hikes on the route..
