Comments
Comments: Well I saw the post up on the facespace that snowshoes were needed on this trip and I would have brought them seeing snow in the parking lot but that was not the case for everyone. I barebooted until the a-z junction and then snowshoes stayed on further down avalon trail on the way out. I saw 2 people who went to avalon in spikes and then I went over the very wind blown track from the day before. I was the first up to field and it was a sticky time heading over to willey. I saw a what i thought was a moose prints but it was someone post holing up to their knees from willey and thankfully turned around. I tried to smooth this out as best as i could. Before i got back to field someone came over in spikes but thankfully the pack was holding decent when they went by. After field it was a mess. Ankle breaking death…. I think i was the only one who headed to tom with snowshoes and that was oh so fun. Tom spur should be great due to going up and down it. Then heading down a-z took forever due to the don’t break your face holes. Would have been easier to break it out from scratch but oh well. I saw at least a friendly face who also had the same tubbs as I!
