| Comments: |
Bare boots from 19 Mile Trailhead to about 2/3 of the way to WRT, then spikes to the summit. Sugar snow on the steeps made traction very difficult, crampons MAY have helped but attempts to keep from slipping and sliding were futile. Quite a bit of mud, breakable crust and monorail until the last 3/4 mile or so which was slushy. Made for slow going, spring is here. |
