First in the small lot on Mountain Road at 0700. Lot was full with a few other vehicles along the road at 1230. |

No major issues. A couple of smaller fallen trees in the S side of the col that are easily stepped over - a small saw would work to clean them up. A couple of other easy but larger step-overs encountered on Cliff Trail. |

Trails here are dry with only a few minor mud spots.
It is hard to believe it has been several years since I last visited these peaks. Though the skies were grey, views could still be had: an early lunch on the Cliff Trail allowed me to take in the Wapack Range south and beyond as well as the Boston skyline to the SE. Not too many people out this morning either which made this one all the more enjoyable. |
