Conditions don’t get much better than they were today.
I resorted to micro spikes while going up the ski trail. Larry B bare booted until just before D.
While going up the ski trail we were passed by Heat Lightening. Nice to finally put a face with the name!
No issues with any of the usual problem spots on the ridge trail. Ice was minimal, snow was supportive, and any ice that we encountered was mostly soft
We met Robie G and daughter Hannah when we were almost back to the cutoff before D.
Nice chatting with everyone who was out enjoying this spectacular day. Not as many people out as we expected to see today
Yet another great hike with the Old Man AND the Saw. |
