| Water Crossing Notes: |
By the wetland/swamp area on the lower part of the trail, the water level is high right now. There are large sticks and rocks to help you cross, but does require a little careful footing. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in overall good shape. There’s on tree on the lower section of trail (don’t remember how far in) but it’s leaning over the trail looking like it’s about ready to fall.
I don’t recall seeing any blazes below the ridge. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Signage at the beginning says “pets prohibited” |
|
| Bugs: |
A few flying around the wetland/swamp area, but that was it. |

| Comments: |
Great day to be out! If you’re looking for a snow-free and ice-free hike, this is it! Only a couple of very small patches of ice and snow hidden in a couple of places, but they were so minor and you could easily place your foot around them.
There are a few muddy spots, so be prepared to walk through them with good boots. On the area with the rock steps, there were some wet rocks that required careful placement not to slip, but overall really nice conditions today. |
