| Comments: |
Still a lot of snow from lake up to summit. Micro spikes from about one mile up, then switched to crampons for last steep section of Kinsman, before reaching summit. This steep section is still all ice flows and pretty treacherous. Ice axe would not have been overkill. Rest of trail straightforward Spring conditions. Several deep post holes bordering trail around the lake.
Great day for a hike.
