Comments
Comments: My kids and I had an absolutely beautiful day climbing North Pack, first time on these trails. We had planned to go up Ted’s trail across Cliff trail and down Carolyn. But sometime around the lovely waterfall on Ted’s trail we managed to get of course and end up going down Carolyn’s trail a bit. As others have noted the fact that both trails have yellow blazes is confusing! Thankfully we noticed our error and decided to simply turn around and head up Carolyn’s trail since we had already added mileage. We ended up loving it, such a lovely relatively easy trail until a bit of mild scrambling/rock faces just before the cliff trail which was also just gorgeous. Minus the fact that it’s easy to get of course even with good map following we loved this trail and it’s completely free of ice just has some muddy spots low down mainly. Highly recommend!
