Trails: Ted's Trail, Cliff Trail, Carolyn's Trail
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Monday, April 11, 2022
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the small lot across from the trailhead: we were the 4th and last car in the lot; the woman who arrived minutes later parked behind us as she was going for a run rather than a hike and would finish first. When we returned there were two cars in the lot (fits 4-5) and 1/2 dozen parked on the shoulder of Mountain Road.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: A few bridged crossings
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Ted's trail not bad although could definitely use a few more blazes; we took a wrong turn up a small knob before realizing it was not the trail (it looked like we were not the first to head up that way). There were a couple other spots that we had to use our trail sense to find the way. Carolyn's and Cliff trails were both very well blazed.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw several who were having a grand time!

Comments
Comments: Did the loop up Ted's and down Carolyn's trails. Ted's a bit steeper especially above the second waterfall. Lots of rocks and roots on Ted's while Carolyn's had several long pine covered sections which made for nice footing.
