| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Long Pond Rd. is still closed, so we parked on High St. and walked .7 miles to the TH. Gave us a nice gradual warmup. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in great shape most of the way. A few blow downs near the trailhead and on Long Pond Rd itself. Some spots with mud/standing water but all easily avoidable. Thought the slabs would've been more slippery than they were - they were not, but added a fun change of pace/scenery. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
none - but unfortunately saw at least three "leavings" right on the trail. |

Great easy hike up a fun little mountain. No views today as it snowed pretty steadily on us most of the hike. We bare booted the entire hike as there wasn't any snow/ice of any significance so spikes got a ride. Saw maybe 10 people all day. Great beginner hike for families with kids - despite the weather it was a great couple of hours in the woods. |
