Comments
Comments: I went up in MSR Snowshoes, mainly for televators.....love those. Saw 4 others in spikes. Came down in Hillsound Trail Crampons for the better bite on ice. Trail really firm. Lots of ice, scary ice. Wear something sharp. I had no trouble at all with the ice, slow going but able to get really good bite. Lots of water running under Trail, & on the trail. Colder temps this week will change these conditions. Like this trail in these conditions rather than summer with all the erosion. No views on top, windy wet cold. Last hike for the winter season! Still lots of snow. Heading home rivers running fast & high. Careful on any river crossing!
