| Comments: |
Very little snow in the woods. Trail is still well packed and was nicely frozen. Mostly frozen snow/ice mix with the occasional ice melt freeze. Overall, microspikes were perfect. Coming down Carter Moriah to Cartner Notch the crampons went on and I did a bit a tree hugging as lots of people had been butt sliding the steepest sections and they were very smooth and slick. Snowshoes went for a nice ride given the snow forecast that didn't hit until I was out. Warm lovely day with little wind. |
