| Comments: |
Started at State Park HQ - took White Dot to White Cross, joined back up with White Dot to summit. Out and back.
These sections of White Dot trail are well packed. Microspikes more than sufficient. At times, more difficult to follow trail above treeline due to snow/ice covering blazes on rocks.
White Cross trail has a packed herd path that is easy to follow, including in places where the white cross blazes are covered by snow/ice. Some scrambles/crab walking, but only in very brief sections. Some postholes, a few of which are frozen.
Microspikes are a must. |
