Flowing water on both crossings, but easily navigable. Could become interesting if warming this week continues. |

Plenty of blowdown, most easy to work around or under. |

| Comments: |
Another hiker, Bob, arrived as I was departing. Broke trail to the AT junction, varying depths from 2 - 6 inches. Very loose powder on top of packed surface, with some hidden ice here and there. Along the ridge, snow depth continued, with waist-high drifts in many sections. Bob caught up and helped to break trail to the summit. One hiker had hiked up from the Mount Surprise side. |
