Comments
Comments: The trail conditions were comparable to walking through the Waterville Valley Ski Area parking lot at the end of April, everything is melting but not enough to bare boot comfortably. The surface conditions were slippery enough to be a pain and want microspikes, but rocky enough where you don't want to ruin them. All and all it's certainly at a low enough angle where Blueberry is a better option for a 52WAV during 2022's Fool's Spring, but be ready for sticky ice for the first mile and rock slabs for the last 0.7 miles. Hike took about two hours as a quick hit on my way home for Spring Break and it definitely makes for a nice quiet solo hike!
