We wore micros today which were fine on the ascent up Stinson Mtn Trail. Snowshoes would have been a better option on the descent down the fire road, as it is very icy.The beginning of the fire road from the summit caused two of our group plus the dog to slip and slide down a short stretch.
A pretty hike up through the woods to the summit. It's a steady climb with no obstacles. Beautiful views await you at the summit. A lovely sunny day out today. |
