Comments
Comments: Good packed trail up to Cabot. The initial section north of Cabot was heavily drifted in, but as I dipped lower a single set of snowshoe tracks was apparent. I bushwhacked straight off The Horn, overshooting a bit and paralleling the trail until I corrected. No apparent traffic north of Unknown Pond, but the snow was either supportive or I would sink 6-8in (sometimes a bit more). From Unknown Pond Peak, I bushwhacked straight down glades, eventually rejoining the trail. I cut a corner avoiding the Killkenny/Mill Brook junction, thus saving elevation. Mill Brook was unbroken, but reasonable to get out, except for some annoying side hill.
