Comments
Comments: I was excited to see temps fall into single digits last night and this morning. It meant hard packed fast trail conditions only requiring light traction. The road from seven dwarves is free of snow, I put on the hillsounds after crossing the bridge and entering the woods onto the snomo path at the green “trail” sign. Haystack road is hard packed snow and ice. I saw no snowmobiles today, road is too hard. No others were hiking either. I had complete solitude up and back. The snow was super firm and I barely postholed at all. Two gray jays greeted me at the summit looking for the usual handouts. Sun was bright up there with no wind. Another one for February done ??. Thr little river was looking anything but little today, might explain why nobody was out hitting up the Twins from this side.
