Comments
Comments: Really a tale of two trail conditions today. Early morning I bare booted all the way to the Hut, put snowshoes on at the Hut, and wore them all the way to Zealand and back to the river crossing. Conditions were excellent until I started to descend from Zeacliff. Unfortunately, by that time things began to warm up and my snowshoes were balling with snow and I couldn't use them anymore. I switched over to micros for Lend-A-Hand and Hale Brook. The base was mostly stable, but alas I did posthole a few times (please forgive me). Zealand Road was really soft on the return from the warmer temperatures and snowmobile traffic.

Nice to run into Heat Lightning on Lend-A-Hand.
