Fine Trail for dogs. Saw none, other than parking lot. Make sure to carry water for them as there not any open water areas. |

I always forget how beautiful this hike is start to finish. Heading down is one of the best scenic hikes in NH. We wore snowshoes from start to finish. Trails looked like it previously been well packed down. Of couse with the storm and drifting what had been a well packed trail had the ubiquitous post-holios. At this point spikes are likely the mote appropriate gear, just beware of some serious 2ft post holes along the ledges. Saturday was fairly windy and drifting was prevalent on the open ledges. Beware in these areas as some of those post holes are somewhat hidden. With temps in the 40s this week, hopefully it’ll course correct. |
