One person past our party of 5 on the road walk. He broke out trail until the old route. Still wasn't bad until the trail spilt. Carrigain Notch trail was between 12 and 18" deep. It was slow going. Then it really got tough when we started the Whack. Mid thigh deep in places. We got as far as about a half mile from the summit. Our gas tanks were running low and had reached our turn around time. Good luck to the next person who finishes the job! |
