Parking/Access Road Notes: Long Pond Road was plowed but gated near High Street and the area around the intersection posted "no parking." I parked at the Glencliff Trail lot and skid down to Long Pond Road and up it to the trailhead.

Comments: Blueberry Mountain Trail, east

Benton Blueberry, solo from the east side. See the parking notes. I skid up the part of the trail that follows recent logging roads, ditched skis and snowshoed the rest of the way, reverse process on return. The trail had about 4" fresh powder over a previously broken trail below, but deeper drifts above. I got off track on the lower ledges, bushed back to the trail, and followed the correct path upon return. No one else on the trail but me. The lower trail sign at Long Pond Road was in place but there was no trail sign at the summit spur and no summit sign. I seem to recall signs on my last hike here, but that was a while ago. . .
