| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Old Troy Road is not maintained in winter. There were large ruts from vehicles heading to the trailhead. Parking lot is not plowed. I have a Subaru Crosstrek, all wheel drive with clearance. Would not try unless you have SUV or truck with all wheel or four wheel drive |

| Comments: |
This is a beautiful trail! It was well packed but could use some more love, so I put on my snowshoes on the ascent. There are a few steep spots with hard blue ice but it’s all doable. Cold, clear day with views for miles and miles, even Mt Washington. The summit is icy but micro spikes were the perfect accessory today. |
