| Comments: |
The Mt. Roberts Trail was packed firm and suitable for microspikes the whole way. The High Ridge Trail north of Roberts and the entire remainder of this hike, however, was partially broken but not packed firm. Those in our party who wore snowshoes walked ahead for those who did not, but there were still a few slips and a few post-holes left behind. A note for cross-country skiiers: The Cold Spring and Settlement paths had been post-holed by hikers and at least one vehicle. |
