Easy parking in the designated hiker parking area at 10:15am. Plenty of open spots. Upon our return in early afternoon, the lot was full and people were parking along the road. |

There’s one blowdown just below the summit that is stretched across the trail. Depending on how tall you are, you can easily walk under it. Tall folks may need to duck a bit. |

Overall, trail is in great condition. There are a few spots towards the beginning (not far after the “foot traffic only†sign) that are a little choppy from boots, but after that, it was smooth sailing. We wore spikes out and back, and they worked well. Saw a number of people barebooting. Our snowshoes went for a ride today. |
