| Comments: |
White Dot and White Cross trails were pretty packed out and consolidated - snowshoes optional to help with occasional deep footprints. Cascade Link was lesser traveled but due to the very cold conditions in the morning it was pretty firm. Spellman had not been used at all since the last big snowfall and I lost the trail a few times. If anyone else goes that way don't trust the footsteps! Consult your maps. Crampons and axe needed for Spellman and crampons helpful for descending a few portions of White Cross.
Weather was good. Cold and clear with little wind in the AM, warming to about 20F by 2pm. |
