Kearsarge Mountain Road is not plowed, so you must park at the bottom and hike an extra 0.7 mile to the summer trailhead. There is not a lot of parking available. |

Found a box of lead-free sinkers - a first - and brought home. |

| Comments: |
Both Winslow & Barlow Trails had been traveled by both snowshoers and barebooters, who chewed up the trail. We ascended and descended Winslow and smoothed it out as best we could, but snowshoes are still the way to go since the trail is not anywhere near hard packed yet. |
