Decent forecast made for a great chance to hike. We still needed to get back to Passaconaway for this month and we were grateful to have had great weather for driving and hiking. Put on our Hillsounds at the car and wore them all day. More snow has fallen, covering up all the ice we’ve been seeing the last few weeks in the whites. From the junction with Rollins trail, snowshoes would not have been overkill. We didn’t bring them today but I’m thinking, next hike, they’re definitely going to be needed. Merry Christmas! |
