Dog-Related Notes: Didn't see any doggos. Probably for the best as I do not know how you'd get a dog up or down some of the steep parts with the ice.

Comments
Comments: Most of the trail currently consists of a few inches of snow on top of a thick layer of solid ice. Ice was hard enough that spikes had a hard time digging in. Of the 7 people I encountered, 3 turned around on the steep parts heading up E. Osceola due to how slippery it was. Crampons will definitely make your life less scary, though I made it work in spikes with some serious tree-hugging and interesting climbing/crawling maneuvers. The chimney bypass didn't have much ice at all, so it wasn't bad. All the other steep parts were very slippery, though, so be prepared.
