Comments
Comments: So the big thing is ice everywhere. You can't go without traction. Up to passaconaway via oliverian and the others had major ice flows but fairly good traction with just spikes. Over to whiteface on rollins was a breeze, well tracked out and nothing too steep to deal with, either direction. Kate sleeper had very little traffic besides a whole lot of moose, and had some powder with drifting. we spiked that section up pretty good (sorry, bad call on us). Coming down off of east sleeper going west, we quickly lost the trail in a small col with a stream heading through. If you're reading this, head north along the stream bed (in the stream). Tripyramids were steeper, more treacherous going down for sure. All can be done, but budget time right now.
