Comments
Comments: A fine chilly day to head up cannon. Skies were clear coming up the notch but when we reached the outlook (cannon) and summit, the clouds socked us in. I had only done this route once before, in early September and hated it. Right now , all the horrible erosion is hidden under packed snow and/or ice. Trail conditions today were amazing, packed powder, no mud, and only a couple spots of ice that were fine with sharp traction. We both used Hillsounds and made it up and down with no issues. Great crossing paths with Neal too. Onto December!
