Comments
Comments: Temperatures overnight were in the low 20's. Trail had capillary ice in the lower elevations. Up higher where water runs across the trail was icy in several sections that would have been helpful to have light traction. We were able to skirt around the icy patches. At the summit, there were avoidable icy areas. There is some scant snow at the summit. We took the trail up and used the snowmobile trails coming down which were much less icy. There was about 1-2 inches of snow on the snowmobile trails.
