Comments
Comments: Hiked up the ski trails, over Wildcat Ridge Trail to Wildcat, back to D and back down the ski trails. I chose poorly on the way up and ended up hiking up a crazy steep grade mostly under one of the ski lifts (don’t try this at home), but I chose a much better (read: less steep so easier to walk on) path on the way down. There is minimal ice, and what there was, was easily avoidable. However, it was cold enough that the mud was mostly frozen. It could not be much better than this!! Therefore the the footing made for a super fast trip!
Caught a beautiful sunrise on Wildcat D.
Only saw 2 other hikers but saw a half dozen people working on one of the ski lifts. It’s almost that time of year!!
